"ONLY LOVE PREVAILS" ...."I've loved you for a thousand years; I'll love you for a thousand more....."

As we are in the winter of our lives, I dedicate this to Andrew, Dr. John J.C. Jr. and Gary W., MD, (who has gone on before us). My love and admiration is unfathomable for each of you..........and what you have brought into this world.....so profoundly to me.
The metaphors are rich and provocative; we're in them now. This world is indeed disappearing, and the richest eternal world awaits us!
The intensity, as was in each of the three of us, is in yellow!
In my heart forever.........

Slowly the truth is loading
I'm weighted down with love
Snow lying deep and even
Strung out and dreaming of
Night falling on the city
Quite something to behold
Don't it just look so pretty
This disappearing world

We're threading hope like fire

Down through the desperate blood
Down through the trailing wire
Into the leafless wood

Night falling on the city
Quite something to behold
Don't it just look so pretty
This disappearing world
This disappearing world

I'll be sticking right there with it
I'll be by y
our side
Sailing like a silver bullet
Hit 'em 'tween the eyes
Through the smoke and rising water
Cross the great divide
Baby till it all feels right

Night falling on the city
Sparkling red and gold
Don't it just look so pretty
This disappearing world
This
disappearing world
This disappearing world
This disappearing world

TECHNOLOGY..........

In “Conversations with God”, by Neale Donald Walsch, there is a warning I think of. I refer to it as the Atlantis passage, and I've quoted it a few times before." As I have said, this isn't the first time your civilization has been at this brink,"

God tells Walsch. "I want to repeat this, because it is vital that you hear this. Once before on your planet, the technology you developed was far greater than your ability to use it responsibly. You are approaching the same point in human history again. It is vitally important that you understand this. Your present technology is threatening to outstrip your ability to use it wisely. Your society is on the verge of becoming a product of your technology rather than your technology being a product of your society. When a society becomes a product of its own technology, it destroys itself."

CHANGE OR DIE BY Lloyd J. Thomas

 CHANGE OR DIE

If there were only two words that characterize our society over the
past 30 years, it would be "transformational change."  Not unlike an
individual struck with catastrophic or long-term illness, corporate
America has been forced to transform its lifestyle or die.

The rapid advancement of technology has required all of us to change
or at best, fall far behind in fully functioning within our
society/culture.  For the individual, corporate downsizing and the
associated employee layoffs have destroyed the concept of lifetime
employment.  Likewise, heart disease and cancer (which accounts for
over 70 percent of premature deaths) shatters one's concept of
permanent health and immortality.  Excluding accidents,
lifestyle-driven illnesses account for over 85 percent of deaths
occurring before age 63.  The essential shift from manufacturing to
informational and service companies accounts for over 65 percent of
business failure before the enterprise is three years old.

In their relentless search for more and more profit, many
corporations have neglected their greatest assets that generate that
profit...the people employed in the business.  With a survival
mentality, employees are now seen as financial liabilities and are the
first to go when the economy of the corporate culture turns downward.

In our greedy and insecure drive to accumulate money and material
goods, many of us have neglected our greatest assets in creating
maximum health as well as material success...ourselves and our
relationships to those around us.

Failing to recognize the transformational value of interdependence,
we continue to depend on others to take care of us, both on the level
of personal health as well as personal income.   Most of us depend on
healthcare providers to fix us after we become ill, rather than work
interdependently to prevent illness from occurring in the first place.
In precisely the same manner, we look to businesses, corporations and
unions to take care of our personal income and benefits, rather than
working interdependently with business leaders and managers to prevent
personal and corporate illness and create financial success for both.

Most of us have never focused on developing the personal skills we
each have to prevent illness or to be successful in a business
enterprise.  The health of the individual is precisely the same as the
health of a business.  The skills required to be well in all aspects
of your life are the same as those needed to be successful in any
business enterprise.

The basic and most important aspect of success in creating a well
individual, group or business is self-awareness.  Any coping with
change requires an awareness of the potential (usually hidden) in the
self.  Within each of us are the seeds for ongoing mastery of the
business, family, body, mind, emotions and spirit.  Becoming
acquainted with, and empowered by, this self, (its talents and
abilities), is the single most essential activity for creating
wellness within all aspects of your lifestyle.

Some of these assets for wellness include: ability to learn; to
discriminate between what is true or real and what is false and
delusion; a positive mental attitude; personal integrity; eagerness to
take full responsibility for your choices, decisions and behavior; a
sense of humor; openness and willingness to change; self-discipline
(the willingness to practice those necessary activities when you don't
feel like it); habitual behavior based on time-honored principles
rather than reaction to the immediate situation; ability to take
moderate and realistic risks; curiosity and openness to feedback from
others; planning ahead and carrying out your plans; acknowledging the
value of every individual including yourself; self-caring so as to be
able to effectively care for others; vision of a desired future;
reverence for all life; appreciation and gratefulness for who you are,
what you have, and the people with whom you are interdependent; desire
to understand others; desire for interdependent intimacy.

All of these assets you have used at least once in your life.  They
are the seeds, which if nurtured and developed, lead to creating a
healthy self as well as a healthy business.  Like the chief executive
officer of a business, you are the CEO of your life.  Recognize your
own power to change, and use your inherent talents to create both your
own health and your own wealth.

Homeowner Foreclosures on Bank of America (Yes, You Heard That Right)

Time.com

By TARA-NICHOLLE NELSON – Mon Jun 6, 4:50 pm ET

In a modern-day evocation of David’s slingshot triumph over Goliath, a couple of foreclosed homeowners in Naples, Florida reportedly foreclosed on a Bank of America branch last week, their attorney actually having moving trucks pull up in front of a Naples branch to execute a foreclosure judgment against the bank.
What must have seemed to observers like a scene out of a parallel universe – you can see some video below – was actually the fair and logical conclusion to a situation which, the court had ruled, had an unfair and illogical start. In 2009, retired police officer Warren Nyerges and his wife, Maureen Collier, paid $165,000 cash for their 2,700 square foot home in the Golden Gate Estates subdivision, and never took a mortgage out on it. So imagine their surprise when, in Februrary of 2010, Bank of America initiated foreclosure proceedings against them. The Nyerges hired an attorney, Todd Allen, to defend them against the wrongful foreclosure, and the Bank eventually abandoned the matter.

Chicago State's Attorney Lets Bad Cops Slide, Prosecutes Citizens Who Record Them (partial re-post)

Robert Johnson, Moore's attorney, says that when Moore and her boyfriend attempted to report the incident to internal affairs officials at the Chicago Police Department, the couple wasn't greeted warmly. "They discouraged her from filing a report," Johnson says. "They gave her the runaround, scared her, and tried to intimidate her from reporting this officer -- from making sure he couldn't go on to do this to other women."
Ten months later, Chicago PD is still investigating the incident. Moore, on the other hand, was arrested the very same afternoon.
Her crime? At some point in her conversations with internal affairs investigators, Moore grew frustrated with their attempts to intimidate her. So she began to surreptitiously record the interactions on her Blackberry. In Illinois, it is illegal to record people without their consent, even (and as it turns out, especially) on-duty police officers.
"This is someone who is already scared from being harassed by an officer in uniform," said Johnson. "If the police won't even take her complaint, how else is a victim of police abuse supposed to protect herself?"
Moore's case has inspired outrage from anti-domestic abuse groups. "We just had two Chicago police officers indicted for sexual assault, there have been several other cases of misconduct against women," says Melissa Spatz of the Chicago Task Force on Violence Against Girls & Young Women. "And now you have Moore, who was trying to report this guy, and she gets arrested. The message here is that victims of unwanted sexual advances by police officers have no recourse -- that the police can act with impunity."
If the Chicago cops recently indicted for sexual assault are convicted, they'll face four to 15 years in prison. That's the same sentence Tiawanda Moore is facing for trying to document her frustrations while reporting her own alleged sexual assault: Recording an on-duty police officer in Illinois is a Class 1 felony, the same class of crimes as rape.

"Overcoming Civility" ~ Lloyd Thomas, Ph.D.

By Lloyd J. Thomas, Ph.D.

Ever since the "massacre" in Columbine High School almost 10 years
ago, we have become painfully aware of the lack of civility among our
own children.  Shootings and killings in our schools, colleges and
streets have clearly demonstrated the need to teach our youth basic
principles of relating in a civil manner.

In 2001, a small group of people living in Tucson, Arizona began an
initiative to "Restore Civility to the American Way of Life."  Today,
that initiative has been renamed and is called, "Choose Civility Now"
(www.choosecivilitynow.org).  In a recent flyer, this organization
wrote, "The time is long overdue for creating a greater number of
opportunities for our children to develop the kind of character that
evolves from the presence of an 'internal force'... The right spirit!
If each of us begins to model the internal force of respect,
reverence, and responsibility, the day will come when we can
..declare victory over hate, violence, prejudice, and all of the
other acts of human failings."

In his book, Choosing Civility, the 25 Rules of Considerate Conduct,
P.M. Forni offers a strategic plan for restoring compassion, respect
and "unyielding hope" in all our interpersonal relationships.  If our
elected leadership were to incorporate Forni's 25 rules in their
political conduct, I suspect such behavior would "trickle down" to our
corporations, businesses, schools and even our homes.  Wouldn't that
be amazing?

In support of the effort to restore civility in all our interactions
and in our interpersonal relationships, I present "Fifteen Principles
of Civility" adapted from the flyer published by "Choose Civility
Now."

-->Pay attention.  That to which we attend becomes stronger in our
mental life.

-->Listen.  Actively listening to another shows him/her genuine
respect.

-->Speak kindly.  Even when expressing opposing points of view.

-->Assume the best.  Always go for a win/win outcome.

-->Respect others' opinions.  Even when you completely disagree.

-->Respect other people's time and space.  Even as you want them to
respect yours.

-->Be inclusive.  Invite others to participate in discussions and
activities.

-->Acknowledge others.  Everyone has some positive personal
characteristics.

-->Accept and give praise.  Everyone wants acceptance and positive
feedback.

-->Apologize earnestly.  And sincerely.

-->Assert yourself.  Replace aggression with assertion of your wants
and needs.

-->Take responsibility.  Being responsible strengthens your
self-confidence.

-->Accept and give [only] constructive criticism [suggestions and
advice].

-->Refrain from idle complaints.  Complaining accomplishes nothing.

-->Be a considerate guest.

Probably all of the above principles can be summed up in one
familiar " golden rule:"  "Always treat others the way you want to be
treated."

"Let civility become your mentor
Let its loving light always shine.
Let its right spirit forever guide you
To a lifestyle that's near divine."

....an email from Dr. Bate...important

Dr. Phil Bate is an orthomolecular pioneer, and NT inventor. He has a Ph.D in Psychology. His site is:
http://drbate.com/Ref/resume.html

I am indebted to Emily Patterson for the following.   I recently met this young lady on line, and was amazed at the staggering amount of research she had  done on Big Pharma and the chemicals they are poisoning us with.  Johnson and Johnson, a company that most of us associate with "healthy, happy babies" is actually giving them allergies and poisons in the very things  we have been made to think  are good for them - all for profit!.

Is Johnson and Johnson Poisoning Babies for Future Financial Gain?   (Should it be Johnson and Toxin?)

Mineral oil (skin cancer), methylisothiazolinone (neurotoxin), phthalate esters (asthma, allergies, eczema), 1,4-dioxane (carcinogen, neurotoxin) and more found in Johnson and Johnson baby 'care' products. In the actual article, at the bottom of the page are links to legal actions (including a class action lawsuit for Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo), recalls and the toxic nightmare that Johnson and Johnson has become.

As a mother myself, I know that we all want what is best for our children - our babies. My babies are now 17 and 8, my little one turning 9 on May 10, 2011. When my oldest was born, it was the beginning of the current asthma epidemic. There were far fewer children with asthma, and almost no resources available for controlling the condition. That was the beginning of my journey into a world of learning about chemicals that cause asthma. At first, what I found was totally unbelievable. I literally could not believe that the products I was using to clean our home and bathe my baby could possibly contain ingredients that was causing asthma. Then, as I did more research, I panicked and threw away everything - and with that change, the asthma went out the door, too. After that, I experienced a sense of hopelessness, these chemicals are in so many different products. I went into a phase of control - where I learned more about the products I chose, moved into making my own solutions as often as possible and now, I just want to help educate others - the same way others educated me.

Disclaimer: Johnson and Johnson claims that all carcinogenic, and other contaminants, as well as recently reclassified ingredients, in their products are within safety standards set by the FDA - back in the stone age, um, I mean, around 1970 something.

We want what's best for our children, and after you read the following, you'll realize that Johnson and Johnson products certainly aren't good for our precious babies...

To read the rest of this article with lists of specific chemicals causing cancer, asthma, eczema, and much more, go tohttp://www.sunflowernaturals. com   You'll be amazed at the full story.

This is a young woman who has done a lot of research  solving her children's allergies and other problems actually caused by Johnson and Johnson, or, as she put it in a recent article "Johnson and Toxin".  I applaud her.

Are there no limits to what Big Pharma will do to make profits?   I haven't seen any?

"Love Island" ~ Author Unknown

Once upon a time there was an island where all the feelings lived; happiness, sadness, knowledge, and all the others, including love.

One day it was announced to all of the feelings that the island was going to sink to the bottom of the ocean.
So all the feelings prepared their boats to leave.

Love was the only one that stayed. She wanted to preserve the island paradise until the last possible moment.

When the island was almost totally under, Love decided it was time to leave.  She began looking for someone to ask for help.
Just then Richness was passing by in a grand boat.  Love asked, "Richness, Can I come with you on your boat?"
Richness answered, " I'm sorry, but there is a lot of silver and gold on my boat and there would be no room for you anywhere."

Then Love decided to ask Vanity for help who was passing in a beautiful vessel.  Love cried out, "Vanity, help me please."
"I can't help you", Vanity said, "You are all wet and will damage my beautiful boat."

Next, Love saw Sadness passing by.  Love said, "Sadness, please let me go with you."  Sadness answered, "Love, I'm sorry, but, I just need to be alone now."

Then, Love saw Happiness.  Love cried out, " Happiness, please take me with you."  But Happiness was so overjoyed that he didn't hear Love calling to him.

Love began to cry.  Then, she heard a voice say, "Come Love,
I will take you with me."
It was an elder.

Love felt so blessed and overjoyed that she forgot to ask the elder his name.

When they arrived on land the elder went on his way.
Love realized how much she owed the elder.

Love then found Knowledge and asked,
"Who was it that helped me?"

"It was Time", Knowledge answered.

"But why did Time help me when no one else would?", Love asked.

Knowledge smiled and with deep wisdom and sincerity, answered,
"Because only Time is capable of understanding how great Love is."
